Treatment programmes
SPINA Back Clinic offers four treatment programmes for the relief of back, neck and leg pain (sciatica):
- CHRONIC
- AFTER CARE
- ACUTE
- MAINTENANCE
CHRONIC
If you have had back pain for more than 3 months (chronic back pain), it is important that you see someone to understand what is causing your pain. Depending on your condition, simple exercise and standard therapeutic treatments may be adequate to get you back on track however if your pain is not responding to manual therapies and their associated techniques, the SPINA Intensive Treatment Programme incorporating targeted mechanical treatments is often the answer.

The SPINA Intensive Treatment Programme (ITP) is designed for patients whose daily life is affected by back pain, neck pain or leg pain.
AFTER CARE
The SPINA After Care Programme (ACP) is available to patients who having completed a SPINA Intensive Treatment Programme wish to receive follow up treatment and monitoring, adopting the programme as part of their lifestyle in the first year after intensive treatment.
ACUTE
Acute back pain is a sudden onset of pain that can disrupt our lives dramatically for a short period of time. Many such bouts of pain will ease by themselves but invariably, prompt intervention can relieve the excruciating pain whilst getting you moving again sooner.
The SPINA Acute Treatment Programme (ATP) provides specialist physiotherapy treatment for acute back pain sufferers. No consultation necessary.
MAINTENANCE
Everybody gets a pain in their back at some point during their life. If and when this pain feels like more than a little twinge it is important to consider whether this is the early stage of a condition that could become more problematic if overlooked or left untreated.
The SPINA Maintenance Programme (MP) consists of short treatments designed to keep your back in good health and give you the tools to keep your back in the best condition.
